The diverter design appears very similar to the Alpha 240 series probably made by Immergas.

If the leak is on the diverter section refurb kit 1000760 (Alpha part no. about £30.00) may well fit.

And if the leak is on the front diaphragm section refurb kit 1000765 (Aplha part no. about £15.00) may fit.

alpha kit defo works on the diaphragm section cos thats all i use, no idea about the diverter section though

Hi Folks!

I have just purchased a new diverter valve manifold assembly but have a question for you before I attempt to fit it.

I know that the DHW diaphragm can be replaced by just turning off cold water supply to boiler and then undoing sink taps to drain water. Does the same procedure apply to replacing the entire assembly?

It states in Baxi manual that the 'primary circuit' needs to be drained. Is this absolutely neccesary, and if so what's the easiest way of doing it?

Alternatively, if this doesn't need to be done then what should I do before removing the old one, in order to prevent water spilling everywhere?

Shut all isolating valves and drain off via boiler drain cock..Also remove the blanking plug on C/H flow valve to get the last drops out

Hi Poxi,

Yes, I did obtain some 3/4 washers, as I was advised to do this by someone else. I will be sure to fit the new washers when replacing the manifold assembly.

hello this is my first post and thank you for persivering with me
i have a small drip on my baxi combi boiler. i have located the leak is coming from the 22mm pipe on the left hand side near the heat exchanger. the conection is not a normal compresion joint. instead it has a clip holding the conection. is there a seal inside this joint and is it an easy job to do and if it has a seal what do i ask for when purchaseing the seal. there isnt much room to get my hand i so can the side panel be removed

You need a diaphragm repair kit. Google it. Easy and cheep repair
