I dont know? He was on another job when she contacted him, but he did mention to me that they are now fitting them and are being fitted in the new boilers with the auto air vent so I hope so.

I thought I would contribute after 18 months of Baxi 105 HE expansion vessel hassles. I kept getting this problem of dropping pressure, glugging noises from the boiler etc. etc. and called out Baxi on a number of occaisions. They poked and prodded and suggested I had a problem with the secondary heat exchanger and generally did stuff that seeemed to temporarily sort it out for brief periods of time.
Yesterday, the boiler finally gave up and Baxi are coming on Friday to replace the expansion vessel. The installer explained that this is one of three Baxi 105 HE boilers he has installed that have had expansion vessel problems. So maybe it's not so unusal after all?
