I have a baxi barcelona heat only boiler the problem is that the boiler won't fire but if I take off the out cover and the inner panelto expose the fan the boiler works perfectly well if I replace the inner panel the boiler will keep going until it reaches temp then stops but won't fire up again until I remove it again the boiler is situated in my Garage

I am afraid that only a gas registered person ( RGI ) should be removing the cover as it forms the room sealed aspect of the boiler.

So the only advice is to get an RGI to check it for safety and fix the problem.

I don't think it will be anything very serious or expensive.

Boster Whoosh Ri series. Viessmann 100.

Ripped out a Barcelona only the other day, thought they had all gone. Serious rubbish boiler, design was flawed from the get go, not worth spending £1 on.
