Hi
I hope somebody can help as i've trawled the net for hours. My wife just added pressure to my aunts bolier, but (too much)...
I know on other boilers you can manually dump water. My question is, Is there a valve or trigger (anything) where i can just dump some water out?
THIS IS URGENT AS SHE IS HOUSESITTING AND MY AUNTS DUE BACK VERY SOON. aaggggggghhhhh.

Hopeful regards

Thanks for the quick replies, it is very much appreciated.

Just to let you know i know bugger all about boilers. Where do i locate the drain valve and what do i do. (pull, twist etc) does it then flow out the overflow.
I know i sound a complete plonker but i'm a plasterer what do you expect, lol

Cheers

take fron panel off screw at top and lifts upwards, inside a red knob with 3 bar should be seen to the right hand side i think it is at the bottem end.

turn it and let some water out yeap it goes down pipe to outside of property. only do it in short burst as not to empty it .

ps

your gonna get done, im telling on yer

Many many thanks.
You've saved me a big boll**k*ng.
Its great to know that there's people willing to help.

Kindest regards

You could have done it though a rad bleed by now, but it's number 7. A knob. Wot you turn:

Dunno what Doylie is on - DO NOT TURN THE RED 3 BAR KNOB OR IT'LL PIDDLE FOR EVER.

why will it piddle forever once is closed of its closed off better than having a soddin leaky drain valve that will need sealing.
