Blow lamp and grips,little bit at a time, think the lad before me had forced it in threaded wrongly and it had welded itself in there, the second I tried to undo it , I felt the snap and knew what had happened , as it happens going back to the same boiler this week for another service, if it is running OK and no fault codes the bloody electrode wont be getting changed
The cynic in me thinks it may be related to the original issue but I doubt it. It had a good run, about 6 years.. just a coincidence I had two problems so close to each other
