Democrats received more in donations than Republicans. What does that say about you?
Says nothing about me, I'm not the one that supports Trump, a morally corrupt person with no connection to the truth

Democrats didn't take money from a billionaire who got promised a power role

Democrats offered policies which helped ordinary citizens.

They didn't. I suspect that's why they lost. Their entire campaign costing a billion dollars consisted of a woman grinning like a maniac and saying 'Trumps weird'.

Well, the weird one won.
The only fact in there is that the trump campaign won.

In any normal civilised society he wouldn't even have been allowed to stand. Nothing wrong with voting republican if that's what you want, but trump.

It's like voting for Johnson over here, but people did it.

They didn't
Democrats offered policies that would help people
Trump offered policies that would and will harm people

“She grinned” is the depth of your analysis

You can only see in terms of emotions. It’s why you think Brexit is great, it’s why you are taken in by charlatans like Johnson and Trump.

It’s why populism works, its a con.

It hilarious listening to certain posters, fail to get their head round the fact that other people are capable of making intelligent choices about politics and come to a different conclusion to their own.

America voted Trump in with a clear mandate. There wasn't a split vote among democrats, there wasn't a new party that caused confusion, he didn't get a landslide with a tiny share of the vote, due to the way the game works.

I don't much like him, but I can see his strengths and weaknesses - people listen to him and they don't call his bluff.

His campaign won, nobody is claiming otherwise. Remember when Biden won though?

But the point is, he isn't fit to even be a candidate.

Not at present but the Constitution could be changed.
Yes that is what some Democrats were angling for, changing the US constitution. Thankfully Americans voted with their feet and that is one reason Trump was voted in.
