Concentration of wealth to such an extreme extent is not in the interests of any reasonable nation.

Not to mention the uncomfortable truth that the wealthiest also take huge amounts of public money, in the form of subsidies and tax breaks.

Hence, any sensible and reasonable government will act to stem such excess.

Concentrations of wealth always happen. But the amount it is concentrated has varied massively. There will always be rich and poor people in a capitalist system.

But are they a million times better off than the average person or merely a thousand times better off.

At the moment the disparity between rich and the average person is unusually wide.

It’s the wealthy who pay all the taxes.

The ones getting the tax breaks are those not paying taxes.
