BBC at the Royal Boat Show

The commentators also left a bit to be desired, they referred to the train on the bridge over the Thames, it was of course a locomotive, LMS Pricess Elizabeth, looking resplendent in the crimson livery, there was no train coupled up.

No surprises that the leftist republican outfit the BBC should have made such a wreck of a national event featuring the Queen.

They have no right to bear the name British in their title.

Broadcasting Corporation would suit their ethos much better.

all the old school producers and directors have been pensioned off who would have produced a proper account. The Producers once on retainers to cover national events have all been dispensed with.

What we have now are a bunch of amatuers with no organisational skills or a grip on budgets.

Whatever one thinks of the Royal family their prescence is beneficial in many ways.
Morale and stability
The support of the tourism industry
A touchstone to reality
A check against politics turning into tyranny
Wordlwide respect
An antethesis to anti Christian immigrants.

(Did anyone else notice the lack of ethnic faces at the Jubilee concert?)

When I was in the Army we had a Church we attended every Sunday.
We were in the absolute main protestant C of E with a few Catholics and allthough we had a small synogogue not a single Jesuit.

That always said something to me about what it actually means to be a member of a country.

There are sections of our country who would not ever even consider joining the army and protecting the nation with pride.

Do we really need people like that living here or even amongst us?

BNP are out again I see.

Army is just a place for thugs and murderers.

Hopefuly they will get some no name producer on POV who will confirm the general public simply are all wrong, it was absolutely brilliant, judged the mood perfectly, so shut up as Auntie knows best and we don't listen in any case...trebbles all round..
And right on cue, a BBC spokesman says;
"We're very proud of the quality and breadth of the BBC's coverage of this extraordinary event.:

Executive Editor Ben Weston says corporation "did the best they could."

So there we have it. The rest of the country judged it wrong. The BBC say they did a good job, so they must have.

just what the board needs: another troll...

Fortunatly, due mainly to our parents and grandparents we have free speach in this country, i dont agree with everything the streaker says but he is entitled i believe to his own opinion.

Nonsense. The vast majority of servicemen pass through without ever killing anyone.
The truth is the Army does not look for pysychopaths as these are weeded out in the initial medical. The tough training weeds out anyone else with a screw loose by pushing you to breaking point.
The people left behind are manageable and productive and under the command of Officers. Naiveity and inexperience however is not the same as thuggery and murder. These young boys have to go up against veteran enemies who have waged war for decades.
Then of course there are all the allied trades in the Army to keep the show on the road. Cooks , Military Police , Logistics , Education , Electricians , vehicle mechanics , etc etc etc

Dont forget the A/C Mech Prop, :p keeping the Vulcans and Lightnings flying 1970-76, so you could all sleep peacefully at night.

He'll be treated by a foreign junior doctor after waiting around for four hours and then spend the night on a trolley in the corridor

Joe, How do you know this?
