Cracking job, did you plan it out or make it up as you went? That’s my issue, don’t mind doing the actual work but struggle with the creative designs. Always wanted to do one of these tho, so at least now I’ve got one to copy

Did a bit of a sketch before..... but as an amateur had to kind of modify as I went along. Pros would have worked it out on brick sizes. I just dug a trench, filled with concrete and started bricking with my sketch in my head. Then had to overcome the obstacles that developed as I went along.

Suppose that’s the beauty of a garden project.... not as critical as a house or extension build (which I also had to overcome similar amateur obstacles on!)

Damn! I’ve just had a pizza evening (and a load of booze) but forgot to take any pics of my pizzas for our competition!

Must say yours are nice and round. I’ve given up on the shape as I’m trying to leave the rolling pin alone and progress to the back and forth hand flinging technique as guests question my authenticity when I get the rolling pin out!

Love the basil on top... all posh like!

You’ve got a nice even crust there.... a 9/10 for sure. A 10/10 would depend on your “special sauce” recipe.

Around 700 degrees but let it drop before I put them in. Sauce is heavy on basil and bay leaf but that’s just my taste.
