Help please, l disconnected my Texecom 64w panel from mains, and, battery, for about 24hrs the other day, because my alarm went off for no apparent reason, and the master, or engineers code would not silence the bell. l have disconnected the alarm cable from the panel, and returned all power back to the panel, but when l try placing the alarm cable on the panel alarm terminal, the bell goes off again. The only red lights showing in ONLINE STATUS AND CONTROL is for PANEL BELL OUTPUT, SYSTEM OPEN, COM 2 POWER, and PANEL BOX TAMPER OPEN.lt seems like a reset problem, but the keypads are only showing the panel tamper.

What happens if you put the orange wire in with the strobe green wire ? Does it ring ?

better picture 2nd time, was looking on phone earlier

2 white cables?
0V and Tamp?

is that a loop for the bell tamper at the panel, if so wheres the power to the bell wired across and which bell.

which bell is this connected to and is the bell set to SAB or SCB?

same with programming in panel?

also as suggested how does the bell/strobe respond when orange into strobe?

ln the bell housing are 3 jumpers BATT ON OFF/ SAB-SCB / LC ON OFF Would these have any bearing on the issue?

yes the SAB/SCB will change the way the bell is fired

SAB is normal for the Texecom bell, if use SCB, it uses less power, so SAB is best normally.

if you cant get to the bell box now, you can change the bell in programming

its in global options, options.

engineers code, 3, 1, then second option in list can be changed to be sab or scb.

if you can access the bell then by all means change it in the bell if not, for now you can change it in the panel.

Only thing you would normally change on the bell is turn the battery on, unless you needed to reduce power.
