Hi Europlex,
Thankyou for that information. There is a degree of logic in your 'one liner' reasoning as regards questions which have been answered previously, and I appreciate you pointing it out to me. Of course it must be frustrating when you are going over the same old questions which you have answered time and time again. The point is though, Europlex, I can't see the need to be 'callous' toward a member of the public who is merely here to seek advice. After all, if you went on another site and asked a perfectly innocent question I'm sure that you would have second thoughts about visiting that site again if all you could get out of them was something like " ... you're using the wrong cable you idiot, get back to your plumbing..". That's O.K. when we are actually working on a site installation, the guys can take that, but not when it's from a total stranger to someone who believes his question is legitimate. I don't think Joe, Alumni nor yourself are bad guys full stop, there's good in everyone. It would help though, if you merely added to your ' one liner' that the post in question has been answered before, and point them to the information you have given me this morning regarding 'top of page'. Why would a professional simply make a sweeping statement such as " .... that camera's no good ..." without giving some simple reasons for his way of thinking. It's wrong Europlex, and you know it is. From my own aspect, since you have confirmed that you shall continue this childish behaviour, then I have no alternative other than to cut you down when and wherever I see it happening, so that the person posting a question can see you for what you truly represent. As far as your 'one liner' in your last post, it's aimed directly at myself so I'm not bothered. When it constitutes an answer to a person submitting a genuine cry for help, then I shall intervene.
