dont know old fires name but i know it doesnt have electric connected to it.at the side of fire on wall,i have 2 sockets.1 for boiler which has a red light on (light only comes on when boiler is lit ) and one socket is free,which i assume i will be able to wire fire to then? so i will have a permanent live feed to fire

Looks like the corgi engineer never turned up yesterday morning then.

no he phoned and cancelled booked me in for tomorrow (wed) if he cancels again i will look for someone else
