Best heating system

If you had any real World experience of them, you would know what ACV Heatmaster customer service is like.

They apparently have reservations about them being used in domestic situations. At least they do once you have fitted them.

I wouldn't suggest anyone takes your advice BB because your experience is limited to promotional material, rather than the hard realities of life.

Most of the people posing questions here can read brochures and installation manuals just like you. They are hoping to receive advice from those who have practical experience of the product and it's reliability in service. You shouldn't answer those questions, it is disingenious of you to do so.

Perhaps charitably, I assume you do not masquerade as a person experienced in the modern boiler industry out of spite. I see your views as misplaced altruism backed up by an unswerving but undeserved confidence in your ability.

Insane would be a briefer summary. ;)

Just think of the gas supply for one of the Combi's?

I personally get very downhearted by all these boiler companies that buy bits off the shelf and do not innovate or push the envelope.

So many now are near identical with only a different case. I suppose it makes it easier for repair engineers who only have to learn how to take the fronts off the different boilers... Jaded or what? :p

Vaillant are not the best, Broag are superior with superior control systems.

The broag domestic boilers are very good value for money, it has an opentherm connection which is an advantage and a pc connection, which remains to be seen if will prove useful or not. However, it is a standard giannoni arrangement and they use a standard grundfos hydroblock, just like a whole bunch of other boilers. Take out the pcb and its no different to a potterton for example. Its a decent boiler at a decent price, with a little of bit of thought gone in but putting it up there above vaillant and on par with atag is ignorant at best. Once again you have proved you know nothing.

Our boilers have PC connections, and I have finally got the lead and software.

Not sure if it is worth the cost, but having the facility to check all the sensors at once does have its uses during servicing and commissioning.

Opentherm is excellent when you set up properly with all the controls.

ATAG are bigger than the average and look odd with two flues. I have little to do with them as parts and service is an issue - OK if you have local man.

ATAG are no different to any other boiler if you fit a twin flue. Mostly though they are fitted with the standard 100/60mm flue, the same as any other boiler.

Yet again letting your self down with lack of knowledge drivel.

They are slightly deeper than most, hence why I don't quote them for kitchens.

Your post should have really stated you have 'nothing to do with any boiler'

Parts are no more of an issue than any other boiler. Next day delivery. Select dealers are available all over the country for servicing and IF they go wrong. I am one.

I would love to know what has happened in your past as to make you so bitter and twisted against the heating/gas industry that you have to deliberately post such consistent in accuracies. This can be for no other reason than spite, to get your own back for something

It's a shame you can't channel your intelligence into a more positive, safer outlook for those that need to post questions on here, whilst giving correct answers.

Well I would put Broag above anything

Only because I install the larger models and assume the small domestic is of the same quality.

Atag I have good reports from people that have fitted them, but only hearsay.

Vaillant had a fire problem with bits melting at one time I assume now sorted.

Intergas range John? Simple, efficient, flexible... As close to your little Elite as a modern condenser can be I promise...

And fully equipped for Opentherm.

I was 65 yesterday Dan and never want to see another boiler ever, unless it's for me.

Wrong man to ask Norcon

I think any system should be designed to fit the property, and NOT one size fits all.

Keep it simple and use the best parts available.

It is domestic unit.
