best way to clear 11 metres of hedge and trees

Maybe cut down the large trees, leave the stumps. That will give access to tidy up the hedge. Either the stumps will rot, and provide habitat for beetles, woodlice, fungi, or shoots will spring up which can be managed as part of the hedge.

It will take years to rot the stumps, we have conifer stumps that were cut years ago and still there thats why we stump ground out the latest trees

Haha knowing my local group they will either want me to dig it up and deliver it 30 miles away at 1030 on a Tuesday or the admin will get a bag on about me asking people to come and look at my bush!
