Hi everyone,
Does anyone know what could be wrong with BG Evolve digital dimmers? It is a brand new wiring with brand new cables in the wall.
The dimmers are working fine. It's a Master and Slave set up (2gang/2way switches)
My issue is that when the consumer unit (fuse box) is turned back on the lights that are operated by these dimmers come on.
We only have these switches in our living room. Like I said above they are freshly rewired with adequate cables. (Twin/Earth + another 2 cores as per the diagram says)
When we turn off the downstairs light circuit (by the fuse box) and back on again these BG Evolve touch dimmers automatically turn the lights on. So, when there is a power cut, when the power comes back again these dimmers turn on automatically and when this happens they turn the lights full on. They don't remember the last dimming volume. This is totally weird! Otherwise they seem to work fine. They are dimming and switching on/off fine. Nothing seems to be odd. Also, they seem to communicate with each other fine. Both dimming and switching perfectly synchronised.
Does anyone know what could be the issue here?
Maybe the Master and Slave are the wrong way round?
