Just imagine: If the government got their finger out and processed the asylum seekers, as they're supposed to, instead of intentionally 'storing them up in hotels, barges and luxury flats', they could use those spaces for veterans and homeless.

With a bit of planning, we should be able to do this for £10k easy.
The cheapest full-board independent schools are around £25k a year, and that's with a good quality education and much nicer accommodation and sports facilities than they need.

Regardless of the cost, the cheapest option is get them working and tax them.
