Big bang v creation.

It's simple really:

The scientist says that the universe started as a singularity of no substance that suddenly 'inflated'. Just like a hologram would.

The religious man says that God created the universe. Well if someone did design it and press the button to create a hologram world you can give him whatever name you like. Let's call him God shall we?

It's the only unified explanation that satisfies both science and religion.

Joe , please provide a link to a scientist stating that the universe started from a singularity of no substance (he won't)

While your at it, can you explain, in simple terms (or even scientific terms) just exactly how a "hologram suddenly inflates" (just like you state it does. ;) ;)

Joe, I think you're doing the old .. science = god thing...
There's no point... because scientists do all the hard work and people like you attribute it to god !! so what?

The problem is when your type tell me that my sister will be stoned to death because she was raped !!!! and your god said it should be so !!
Scientists would NEVER EVER say that !!

Joe you should be disgusted with yourself!!

Tell us about this singularity then. You seem to know all about it.

I would recommend you read "The Grand Design' by Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow. They never mentions a Holograms and to be honest and not disrespectful. these two guys have far more credibility than you.
They discuss Multiverses and M-Theory, both beyond my small minded comprehension, but with your Great Mind, you may be able to make some sense of it. Both of the above theories have more credulity than your Hologram world, but I still don't comprehend the minds of these great people.

Joe I know nothing of singularities with no substance It was you who stated this, so perhaps you'll let us know about them. (still no chance of winning the Nobel prize for Physics)

Hysteresis sums it up nicely in 4 words.

I said it was some type of super-hologram to give you the gist of the theory. Imagine hologram theory 20 million years in advance of today and you might get the drift.

Come on then clever dick. Tell us what a singularity is and where it came from. (he won't). You are the Glasgow Muppet.

If holograms are made out of light and we're all holograms, how come we don't all disappear in the dark?

A hologram 20 million years in the future will be a very different beast.

If I asked "Where is this holodeck?" would we be back to square one?

No. When you die you wake up for tea and biscuits in the ante room before taking up your real life in the far distant future.

Geography's not your specialised subject either is it Joe? Glasgow's nowhere near East Lothian (try looking on google maps)
As for answering your question re-singularities, I'm still waiting for you to provide a link to singularities of no substance. You won't link to anything will you ? (he certainly won't )
