Turns out that his "Dad was a tool maker" is another "Starmer truth" ---turns out his dad owned the factory !

That is incorrect.

There was never any factory.

Rodney Starmer had a business called the Oxted tool company, but he was self employed.
There’s no record of the business on company’s house, nor any evidence of the business having any employees.

There is a business called the Oxted tool company, address in Edenbridge at Gaywood farm, it’s listed as “newspaper and journal publishing” no evidence of any connection to Rodney Starmer.

Keir Starmer grew up in a house no 23 Tanhouse Road Hurst Green, he is listed as a resigned director of the donkey breed society at that address.

I know the area well, I used to go to the Haycutter pub just a few doors up from that house. I also know Edenbridge very well (lived there for many years)
