Block work has cracks.

You won't post any photos and haven't said whether it was built last week or a century ago. I suspect many have given up replying.

In my original post it says that the blocks are only up 7-8 ft from the foundations. That's not high enough to be finished. So it's new block work.
I also replied to your question about photos by stating that photos wouldn't help as they would need to be close ups and that wouldn't give any useful information. Instead I described where the cracks are and stated that I just wanted people's opinions on which professional I should contact. Which is another reason why photos would be unnecessary.

Ok. Thanks any idea who I need to employ to take a look at this?

Sorry I can't say I know for sure. I suspect no one else does either or they would have probably said so.
Why not try a local surveyor? If it's not his thing he should say.

Either a better description of "cracks in the joints" or photos would help.

Else you will be forking out for a structural engineer or a very good, structurally minded building surveyor.
