The house we moved into has a Vaillant Turbomax 242E (could be 282E). The timer controlls on the boiler is a simple analogue clock - the ones where you pull out the pins at the time you want the heating on (black clock, green pins). Each radiator in our house has a TRV apart from the bathroom, which is just a standard valve. We have no room stat.
As such, we don't have the most efficient controlls, and I was looking at upgrading them. I would like a room stat and programmable timer (seven day programable would be useful) and would like recommandations of the controls to buy and the best place to instal the room stat. I understand that I may have to remove the TRV in the room where the room stat will be.
