boiler cutting out

hi there
having some problems with my glow worm 30 cx
most mornigs the boiler cuts out and comes up with a code F4
i reset the boiler by switching off and on again,
i have taken off the front cover and cleaned that out and i have checked the condensate for blockages,
can anyone tell me a bit more about the condensate and how it works, should the float be at the top of the box for a start
is it possible for the ignition plug to be dirty,
the thing is it does'nt cut out all the time and that is what is confusing me,
can someone please help, the misus is on my case

You are into restricted territory here. Get someone in to look at it, and don't forget to ask to see their Gas safe card.
