The 15 mm pipe for the last few feet is meaningless on that boiler. If the pressure drop is less than 1 mb will appliance on, including fires and hob, then all is OK.
Get him to sign off when he has a new Corgi number. Check that it is valid by texting him for it, so you can check before he comes. Tell him you will not allow him to call unless he gives the number. He will then know you will check as you checked the old number.
If less than 1 mb drop, Corgi number OK and book filled in then pay him. Don't be aggressive to him, be nice, as you may have to get him back if something goes wrong.
