I don't know if Paul Barker will cover York, as he's from Harrogate I think.
The CC1 is a 29kW boiler and should be able to cope with the heating easily. Assuming of course that your house is not an eormous Victorian pile with solid walls, original sash windows and absolutely no draught proofing or insulation.I have a 4/5 Bed House and 11 Radiators and 2 Bathrooms. The system is approx 9 yrs old and boiler is on its way out. I basically need a new condensing boiler and would like a recommendation. The system we have now is a Bosch CC1 boiler and the house is always cold, the hot water isn't as hot as it used to be either, its intermittent hot/cold so has a fault.
With a combi boiler, the heating output is determined by the radiators. You can't get 2kW out of a 1kW radiator. Will a higher KW make the heating any better or just the hot water?
Yes and pressure. If the pressure is low, the flow will decrease when a second tap is opened. Is flow rate important to run 2 taps @ same time?

Is that a slightly smaller version of the greenstar 30 HE plus? If so, it is one of the most advanced boilers on the market. If that heat exchanger blocks, you really have a lot of crap in the system. It's a BG branded CC1 ZWB 7-29a
