Boiler overrun?

old netaheat 10/16 did not have facillity for pump over-run fitted as a standard feature, only if sealed system option kit was fitted.
16/22 version did have and require the pump over-run.

Are you saying that Boiler AND PUMP stopped when boiler stat was 'satisfied' irrespective of a room or cyl stat still on demand?

Was this a fully pumped system?

Was this a gravity system?

Was this a sealed system?

Low content boilers need an over-run, and Ive just been to visit a boiler that continues to o/head as the pump overrun stat has failed. 3 RGI's have failed to diagnose it! Sorted now.

Yes, boiler and pump stopped at the same time when boiler stat reached temp.

Fully pumped open vented system with 8mm copper to Rads.

I advised the customer to get a heating engineer out as the boiler just didn't stay on for long enough.
