Boiler servicing question

Skyblob. I WOULD suggest you get someone to check it out cos you won't see the sorts of things that can start to go wrong on the old CI jobs. And if there IS soot, you definitely don't want to get involved. It's the filthiest job - I hate doing it!
A Flue Gas Analyser is handy on them things, too.
And spend £20 on a CO detector, just in case.

ChrisR, bloody brilliant first reply, but a bit worried your after upstaging my reputation :LOL:

The thought of a diyer doing his own boiler service particularly on an open flued appliance makes me shudder.
