Boiler Warranties

In your post it sounds like the boiler manufacturers want you to service the uvhw cylinder for the boiler warranty?, not heard this and would probably argue they should mind their own business if they do.
That was my point in #5.

I believe stainless steel cylinders (conventional or unvented) can have a 10-year warranty, but for it to be valid the cylinder must be drained and inspected internally at intervals, probably yearly. Needless to say, most[/QUOTE]
Having spoken to the maufacturers several times regarding servicing these gizmos,no one has ever suggested draining them annually as part of a service

OK, I wouldn't have bet the farm on it! Must be just an external inspection, for what that achieves.
 
well for those of us that had to endure the boring shoite that is a G3 qualification it seems that you know more than us so crack on
