Instead of shutting off by the HW flow switch it shuts off by the thermistor as the flow switch is stuck on.

Boiler will not go back to CH until you turn the tap on and off sharply to free the sticky HW flow switch. Answer: YES

Yes you are quit right but in addition I also have my original post problem

What I have noticed is that the boiler first fires up, then shuts down, the fan keeps running but the burner will not relight under normal heating opperation.

When the boiler fires up. How long does it run for before it shuts off again?
Do you have to reset for it to start again or does it start on its own 3 mins later?
