Hi all,
After finding lots of plaster that's falling away from the brickwork and having chipped it away I'm going to bring the level of the plaster to original in preparation for the plasterer to skim. However I've got a couple of questions that I hope you can answer.
1/ Is it best to use browning or bonding plaster for the layer against bricks and under the final skim?
2/ From reading other messages I think I should be using dilute PVA glue 2 hours before applying the plaster, Is this correct?
3/ Do I need to score the plaster just before it sets to give the skim something to bond into?
Thanks in anticipation
FK.
