NEWSFLASH: Politician tells a few fibs.

In other news, Bears are found ****ting in the woods and the Pope confesses to being a Catholic.

Earlier you used Rees Mogg as an example of a Brexit advantage.
Now you are saying politicians tell lies.

Youve just argued against your own point.

they could have backed a deal.

I've heard 3 interviews with those looking to block this and at no point was there a goal. The labour spokesperson, said:

- we are against stopping Brexit
- we are against no deal
- we are against a conservative deal
- we want a general election, but we wont commit to being leave or remain.

Do people actually realise that unless a no deal looks highly likely - the EU wont improve the offer, which has been rejected 3 times.

Should we just give up and cancel A50? I think that is what a lot of parliament really want. In which case why did they strongly vote to trigger it?

I don't care if we leave or remain. there are advantages and disadvantages of both.

You make it sound like there is an equivalence.

There are advantages if I jump off this cliff, there will be a brief moment that I am flying but then there are some serious disadvantages like death.

Cameron unleashed the chaos, no one is willing to put the genie back in its bottle.

Do you negotiate in your line of work?

If so - how do you find someone's bottom if you don't test it. How do you test it if they think you are bluffing?

The backstop can be suspended, timebound, independly adjudicated etc. etc.

Bojo - just needs a slightly better deal, he can get over the line against a backdrop of no deal.

Then we have a deal. My worry is those who don't like the deal, are saying so because they want to remain.

It all depends who has the balance of power and what is the outcome of no deal.

Also in negotiations there are usually substiutes and compliments.

Rees Mogg tells the lies I like to hear. Whatever the EU says are real lies.

I think its clear you'd all prefer we called the whole thing off. It doesn't really address the issue of the vote though or all the issues that led to it. We'll never get consensus at home until people think about a compromise. Nearly out or nearly in?

There does seem to be a Flagellist attitude coming from those who've posted against Brexiteers negotiating a better deal.

What would your compromise look like?

The irony being if the vote had been binding then there was ample evidence to anul it because of all the irregularities, criminal behaviour and funding illegality from the leave campaign. The fact idiotface Cameron acted as if it was binding is the problem.

Cancel article 50 and revisit this in a decade after we have more pressing issues like education and health cuts that need to be addressed as well as social care funding.

When you fall out with someone and the trust is gone, you grab what you can. It wont be prett
You do pluck some balls out of thin air,,will you ever be happy after Brexit,,,have you always been pessimistic by nature?..

I was taking the ****. Do you think that the possibility of cheaper food, clothing and shoes were the reason I voted out? I voted out was because I didn’t like how the EU had evolved from a simple common market to interference in our laws and rules and decided I wanted the UK to try something else. Why should we have to bow to their demands on freedom of movement for example, so that we can sell stuff to them? I might want their fruit or cars but I might not want them if the are of no benefit to this country. Same goes the other way. Freedom of movement amongst other things is just a way of controlling countries that are in the club and we all know who ultimately runs the EU. I didn’t like what I had. If it turns out ****, so what - it’s my choice. Probably don’t have the same priorities as you but again, it’s personal choice. Where do you live? What type of house do you live in? Mortgaged/owned/rented? What do you do for a living? Where do you go for your holidays? Do you save in a cash or stocks ISA? What car do you drive? Do you give to charities? Which ones and why not others? Why are you friends with that person and not this one? Are you religious? If not, why not? If yes, why that religion and not one of the others? Ask any of those questions to a multitude of people and there will be someone who will argue strongly you that you should have done different - according to them. You don’t need to explain why you chose those things, it’s just your choice. Why not just stop asking or trying to convince others to do and believe as you do. You are wasting your breath, you won’t change anyone’s mind. Nobody knows exactly how things will pan out in the case of a hard Brexit including you but we won’t starve and we won’t die. Our standard of living may go up or down. So what - we won’t know until we try.
