Do you assume their IS an answer (well, one that is acceptable to many people)? This just seems like one time when all we could really do to help is deal with the innocents who are affected (medical aid, water, etc).
Supporting either side (of which there must be many by now, not just two) is doomed to be really bad news for someone, so in this instance I think we should basically butt out.
