well, afaik Keir Starmer has "rested" his licence while he is in Parliament.
He concluded some active cases while a back bencher.
Then ceased to practice

some Drs/Nurses/teachers must carry out so many hours per year to remain qualified. Same as pilots etc

And he's now pushing to put a stop to it.

How does that compare with half a million to act as a lobbyist in defiance of Parliamentary rules?
