I guess the float’s ok then, it may have been a little sticky or just got overwhelmed.
Ok, I have the l/h side panel off and have located the flowmeter. Should be able to replace that ok.
Just a couple of final (hopefully) questions:
There looks like a build up of gunge in the top right hand corner of that large clear(ish) plastic matrix thingy (“water inlet” Bosch spare no.: 434477) - the right angled bit has some sort of brown debris in there. It’s a job to tell whether it is creating any sort of blockage.
Could this be causing or contributing to the problem? If it is, is there anyway of clearing this stuff out relatively simply or is it a replacement job? If it needs replacing how easy is it to do that with all of those strange connectors at the bottom, are special tools needed?
