Hi all,

I’ve had a radiator replaced and it’s exposed the pipework. The floor is tiled and it was tiled up to original boxing. Ideally would like to do this without having to remove radiator.

Would it be best to try and slot in the gap where tiles end or for the box to sit over the tiles. I’d thought about screwing batons into the small area of floorboards and screwing the box to that at the bottom. Was thinking of plywood and cutting where the vertical pipes are and sliding it in?

Does this seem reasonable or is there a better way? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Why did they have to swap ends? Most rads can have either side as flow or return?
