we have guys in the office here who swear that their Matsui/Accoustic Solutions TV sound and look much better than the major brands.
I used to work in currys and whilst some of the lesser brands give good value for money the amount of returns we used to get of goodmans, matsui etc was phenominal.. ok we sold more but i did an excersise when i was bored on the %'s. and the lower brands always lost out.
But there will always be people who swer that the £29.99 Bush Stereo sounds much better than the £499.99 Denon system.

on the same note I've always been a fan of Sony, but recently switched loyalty to Panasonic (Matsushita) and Technics. (Although i did get a Tosh LCD telly for Christmas
