I see the Buffoon is pushing his name forward again.

He's Rupert Murdoch's choice for PM.

Does anyone else seriously trust him?

You seem to like him, judging by the number of threads you start about him.

I think I detect a bromance going on :)

It seems weird to me that TM is pushing on with Brexit despite polls showing a backlash against it.
So much for democracy!

Why are Brexiteers so afraid of another referendum? They desperately wanted one before, but now they desperately do not want another. They know the result will go against them because the populace are better informed now.
They even tried to prevent parliament from having a meaningful vote on the issue.
But he will also insist those who want to stop Brexit cannot prevail.
In the speech in London, he will say that that holding another referendum on the UK's membership of the EU would be a "disastrous mistake that would lead to permanent and ineradicable feelings of betrayal"

Farage suggested it very recently.........so not afraid no :)

be an even greater vote for leave than the massive majority from last time.

What you consider to be massive is clearly different to what I would consider to be massive.

Yes, now even more people want to leave.

Probably due to the whining moaners..........they should take their life savings to Cyprus and enjoy a haircut (Cyprus haircut)

Hey, knock that off Notch; that's where my dad comes from. It's okay, I know you're just joking.

But going back the the OP comments, I certainly don't think by the way he did todays speech, that he's going to make a move on the PM. I wouldn't be at all surprised that he was ordered to make it.

What polls adjusted for actual voter demographics are showing a new referendum would result in a reversal?

no links to guardian please- independent sources only.

What, you seriously expect the Independent to be any fairer than the Guardian.

Most surveys show the results would be reversed, but they also show that people don't actually want another referendum, so it's a moot point. But I suspect if another one were to be held, the surveys would be shown to be wrong, just as they have for the previous votes, so we'd very likely get an ever bigger vote to leave next time.

this was discussed at length on radio 4 general concesus looking at all the poll evidence was it would be to close to call ??

broadly those who voted would vote the same ? the only factor which may influence the vote would be those who did not vote in the 1st referendum ?

Actually, not quite. There are lot who would change their vote (both sides), a lot who wouldn't bother voting (both sides), and a lot who now would (youngsters and pensioners alike).

The problem with calling this one, is that there is no precedent to make a judgement call on.
