Hello,
We are currently renovating a property, for which we had a planning application approved last year.
Had a few issues along the way with our architect going AWOL and since then the original builder left the job.
We are now progressing with a new building contractor, who have noticed a discrepancy in our planning application. The rear of the property we are having an extension an open plan extension and it was decided the entire back wall on both floor would be knocked out and then rebuilt, as we had to get some large steel installed for the extension.
We are now at the point of rebuilding the back of the house, however all along we wanted it to be fully rendered. The builders have said if that’s the case then it would make more sense to rebuild it in concrete blocks then render, rather than brick. However our plans show brickwork.
I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice on whether this would be an issue or would we have to resubmit plans?
