Our boats fish in european waters and the european boats can fck off from our waters.
Not the access they had before, because, well, here's the thing, We're no longer in the EU.
Now it was agreed that the '2 parties' would negotiate the position on fishing and come up with some sort of agreement by July 2020.
They haven't attempted to negotiate, instead they insist the fisheries policy remains as it was and they refuse to recognise our territorial waters, they've also decided that unless we completely cede our territorial waters, no talky talky on a trade deal.
That puts them in breach of the WA., and puts us in the position of being able to say 'OK Michel, do one you French ****.
We're having to cover certain eventualities in NI by introducing laws that will slightly modify our position on the WA (nobody has seen the wording on these alterations and won't before tomorrow) but my understanding is that the EU won't be able to choose which goods moving between mainland and NI are considered at risk (of finding their way into the EU) and therefore subject to tariffs, there will be no tarrifs within the UK.
Yes, the backstop may have been agreed in the WA but clearly as a temporary measure until a trade deal is agreed. The fact that the EU have refused to negotiate a trade deal and refuse to even discuss one until we agree to cede our territorial waters and abide by their laws is, well, quite frankly it's not cricket.
Only 3 things smell of fish Notchy, the first is the huge fish stocks within British territorial waters, and the second in the underhanded deceitful way the EU have approached these negotiations.

Since your argument that any rights to access amount to preventing the UK having full sovereignty over UK water, you are contradicting yourself.
You are being dishonest.
The PD states clearly there will be access to UK waters, so Boris has already agreed it's on the table
The point is this, we, as a sovereign nation, own those waters. We, as owners of those sovereign waters decide how much of those waters are granted to other users, and wether or not licences are required.
We decide all that, not the EU.

EU have been entirely consistent and in line with the WA and PD.

You cant argue that it means "less access"
The amount of access is open to negotiation and the EU are negotiating for the same access.....perfectly reasonable. What you dont like is that we need the EU more and they have more leverage.
