I play keyboards and guitar, can sing a bit (quite good at harmonising). Have done this semi pro, but probably lack the confidence to be emotionally scarred for life by Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden. So I won't bother trying for BGT.
I know a girl who entered the X Factor. IMHO she'd make a really good country and western singer and has a great voice. At the auditions she didn't even get past the first post, never met SC and was told by the assistants that she should perhaps try karaoke competitions instead.
I'm currently training my dog to go for Simon Cowell's throat though. But don;t know what he could do in the second round.
