I think most people here know I was always staunchly pro-europe, but even I have had enough of the rubbish we are getting lumbered with.

The French now recieve TWICE the rebate we do, yet they pay HALF as much..

We are a nation of fools led by the incompetent..until we wake up Europe will shaft us at every turn.

Yep, the EU need us more than we need them, I've said this before many time, Blair is selling England down the river. Now Brown got a blinding headache to rob us again somehow without cutting back on public service, hospitals and schools.

I can't see how Blair can carry on and are the Labour voters happy about this?????????

hmm run up to the election blair said the rebate is non negotiable

hmm a few weeks a go no negotiation in the rebate without a change in the common agricultural policy

hmm ahh sod it its christmas here you are add another few billions to our bill and cut the rebate by 20%

and you may have missed it in the news, but as you all know britain is now in an energy problem in that we dont produce enough of our own and have to import it. Now we all know that there is more untapped reserves in the north sea just waiting to be pinpointed, what we need is more research into this said the government. Hooray for Mr Brown, with his good old hike in tax to oil companies shell have just cancelled one of their exploration programs in the north sea.
