Had BT FTTP BB for a goodly time now and all has been working OK but last week it started being intermittent. The blue light on all the discs except the one attached to the router went from solid blue to flashing. Sometimes, you'd get WiFi and then it would disappear.
I tried all sorts of stuff, but nothing worked. In the end, I reinstalled them:
Unplugged all the discs. Plugged in only the one attached to the router and pressed the reset button, with the app guiding me.
Once that one was connected, I then went round plugging in the others. One would not connect, so I unplugged it, reconnected it and pressed the reset button. It connected OK, as did the others without the need for a reset. I have a triple pack plus a separate one.
Getting the separate one connected was not straight-forward. It wouldn't connect to the system. I read somewhere that if you plug it in to the router, it will set itself up, so I did that, and sure enough, it got a solid blue light.
I then unplugged it and moved it to its location.
Everything was hunky dory for a few hours, now the discs are flashing blue again and dropping out.
I originally rang the BT helpline, but I was on hold for 30 minutes, 20 of which they kept telling me I was first in the queue.
So I gave up with that.
Anybody got any ideas, please?
