4. Knock out the walls to make a large living room which consisted of the conservatory.

But as you guys have explained..this is not possible
Correct.

You cannot stick up a bog standard conservatory and then convert it to an extension without knocking it down.
You can’t knock out the walls afterwards unless you then upgrade the conservatory to meet current Building Regs. & that is just about impossible unless you build the cons. to meet Building Regs in the 1st place.

So having french doors isn't going to solve my problem, because i'm still left with a small living room being divided in several segaments.
A way of almost meeting your requirements would be to have two sets of sliding bi-fold doors without any intermediate obstructions (although you will still have the folded doors each side) but they are comparatively expensive, may have to be triple glazed to meet insulation standards & you will still need a very large/expensive beam supporting the back of your house from the outset.
