Hi
I need to repair /replace some leaky Buteline fittings.
I would prefer to convert to John Guest or Hep2o is this possible without a crimping tool though? I can't find any compatible fittings for the 22mn pipe.

Technically no, inasmuch as if you don't use the proper Buteline fittings and you get a leak it won't be warrantied and your home insurance may not pay out for any resultant damage. That being said, 22mm is 22mm and provided you can find a liner that fits it should be OK. The tricky one is the smaller size as it's 16mm not 15mm, and the only way to adapt that is using the correct Buteline fittings & crimp tool
