They most certainly are. Once the sheet of plasterboard is back on there is a partition going up along the line of the steel beam so they will be less than 150 from the ceiling and corner of the room.
That'll be fine.

Just need to re-route these so that they enter the box on the RHS, or they won't be in the horizontal zone created by the accessory.

But re condensation - where's the vapour control layer?

Also by leaving the area uninsulated are you compromising the reason for insulation?

It's an external wall which was uninsulated as it was a garage. I'm knocking it into a games room for the kids and to be fair I'd rather have 100mm of it uninsulated than have to derate or increase cable size.

The wall between the house and garage had been insulated and had two sockets with cables dropped in the partition certainly not touching or fixed to any plasterboard.
I would have personally been happier increasing the CSA of cable or use another method that would not compromise the CCC of the cable, could possibly gone for a fused spur set up, rather than compromise insulation and heat loss properties of wall. Are you using duplex boards?

I thought that maybe the case, looking at the picture but you never know. Just need to address the horizontal zone to the backbox via corner, then it seems okay.
