Ok anokakes - why did you enclose a web address for your partners company in your first post which was removed by moderators?

ps Realise you are a clerk - but if you work for shipping company then your company must be able to import / export - otherwise it would an import co?

If that was actually correct I would not have a problem; you did delete one (or was it two) complete threads which is fine by me but what I don’t understand is why you deleted my post from this thread;

The reason given is that it was an “unhelpful post” when in fact it was originally intended to be complementary as at least that particular post made some sense. We have a new member who was attempting a thinly veiled route at advertising by continually raking up old threads that had anything to do with concreting/block paving drives, extolling the virtues of Pattern imprinted concrete & posting their contact details. There was no argument going on & no unpleasantness in any of the posts; what I was attempting to do was highlight the advertising & continuous resurrection of old threads which is pointless & usually a waste of time especially when it was so obvious the only reason was advertising. If you also read the posts being made by the same member, I believe there is a certain amount of “Trolling” going & although some have definitely noticed, there is at least one who seems to have been sucked in; I consider these posts far more unhelpful than mine.
Any forum needs Moderation but at least understand what’s actually going on rather than just hitting the delete button; it’s certainly the last time I’ll flag any sort of advertising or trolling to Mods or Admin.

Others had seen it - I am only normally a looker at threads unless I genually believe I can input something or need to ask a question.
I don't believe you should stop flagging up any other blaggers to mods if you see them
You and others put flags up and so you should keep doing so - otherwise forum will become littered with unwanted adds

In the grand plan of things I tend to agree.
However, a perceived miscarriage of justice is not to be ignored in any walk of life. The decision should either be upheld or overturned. In either case, since this site (like any other forum) can only run through goodwill, it would seem sensible for a proper explanation to be provided to one of the most valuable and reliable posters, and an apology/correction made if appropriate.

well yeah, head office which are in tilbury may occasionally do exports but we just do imports and i mostly work with customs and excise clearing the containers which come in to the docks. I didnt put a company email address i just put my email address. And all of the posts i commented on where the other side of the country. So i doubt that even if i did have a company that i would be trying to scout for work that far away. Would be worth it.
I'm not getting worked up about it; I don’t like sloppy work of any sort even when it involves something which is, as you say, appears quiet trivial. If you have autocratic powers in what you do, you have a responsibility to at least make an effort to understand what’s going on; could be significant if the receiver of your wrath is actually trying to help you!

Mod 11 is Joe-90 and you'll get no response from him whatsoever.
I'd be rather surprised; maybe wrong but from what I know of Joe I think hes a bit smarter than that!

Joe hasn't got the right credentials to be a mod... i should know, he keeps taking a pop at me at every opportunity.. not the actions of a moderator by a long stretch. Plus he's a wind-up merchant and is quite often unhelpful which is against the rules. Perhaps he's the owner, a bit of an Alan Sugar... a grumpy old s0d who owns the comapny so thinks he can do as he likes !!
