I'm not vehemently for or against the EU (although its accounts are a disgrace) but if we belong to a club where we are a huge net contributor and also we have a trading deficit with them - what is the point?
As for keeping the peace, if the rest of Europe keeps the peace amongst themselves then we probably will as well or -
we could become neutral.
