Roof has been done this summer but I don't have any handle on the tradesman who did it so I wonder:
- How bad the situation is
- Can it be rectified
- Would I just cause more damage by going up there and banging stuff
Basically, the roofer who did this missed 4 nails: They go through the batten but not through the rafter!
Luckily, no horizontal line has more than one nail missed.
I am thinking to go up there with a ladder and slide the tiles over the missed nails, then hammer a new nail properly and slide the tile back in place.
I've seen videos of my type of tiles (overlapping concrete) and it looks pretty straightforward, except that I don't know if banging a new nail isn't just going to shake the whole system out of place.
