Maybe the OP can come back on and clarify what he meant?
Sorry I didn't know you were still talking. I've got a bit of room to play with and the box will be lower than the boiler I should think so I assume that will add distance.
Also does anyone know if this needs a membrane that goes behind the box and tucks under the lintel or a dpc above the lintel with weep holes? Cheers

Have another look. I was editing it. it kept rotating the picture 90 degrees.

Can you add a few more vertical measurements? Looks fine so far but verts are missing... Boiler vs meter height from ground level.

I had a better measure up today. Not quite as wide as I thought but lots of height due to outside ground being low. So the box can be low and still above dpc. So am I right in thinking the boiler could go directly above the meter if needs be? Cheers.
