Looking for some advice regarding my 14 month old machine- machine had 1 jumper in for a quick cycle when taking the jumper out it was soaking so put it on for a 10 min spin & drain cycle- it spun but couldn’t get to a full fast spin and sounded like it was struggling - when it got to 6 minutes to do the fast spin the clock just stayed at 6 mins? I ran the cycle empty and it finished as normal? can’t understand why it’s not getting to a full finished cycle with just 1 item? Any advice?

My washing machine does that when it decides it is not balanced.
Often seems to happen with a single heavy item.
It seems to be a normal (annoying) function to save the bearings.
Is there a fix or does yours work ok with a normal load? We had just done a normal load minutes before and it was fine and then I washed a single thicker jumper albeit heavy when wet and it’s decided not to work ill maybe try a normal load tomorrow as I’ve spent the last 2 hours trying to figure out what to do , alternating the cycles , switching off, resetting, checking nothing is clogged and gave up

Sorry to say that we did not find a fix. (Note that ours is not same machine as yours).

And we only later found reason in manual when it mentioned reducing spin speed if drum unbalanced.
