over the years bits of carpentry have been whittled away into other I won't call them trades but don't work to the same standards,whats gone wrong? and they get away with rubbish work because every one knows its best their going to do
I understand what you mean and it seems to affect other trades too. Employers are seeming to want more "multi trade" people who have "flexability of labour".
Its abad result for the customer example kitchen fitter that cant do woodwork and makes a right hash of a cut out and draining grooves for a belfast sink ,so is that person really a kitchen fitter?
