ceiling fan wiring

Is does look like the fan supplied was intended for use with the remote.
Is there a black receiver unit on the fan.

If confident you need to pull the fan apart to see if u can safely seperate the fan and light wires
Or purchase the remote.

No there is no reciever On the fan.

The terminal block on the fan I've just noticed has 2 live wires coming out tho. One red one brown.
So I presume one is the light and one the fan. I can just seperate them and that should sort it I would think. View media item 70609
